JP Cross Country - Tryouts Wed Aug 11

Our first practice for the 2021 Cross Country season is scheduled for Wednesday August 11 from 6-8 pm and will be held at the JP Track/Stadium. Please come dressed and ready to run and make sure you have a filled water bottle, a mask, and a snack/gatorade for the ride home. We will have a team meeting and then be doing a 2-mile time trial at this first practice to assess your current fitness level. I recommend that you don’t eat a big meal before this practice.
Prior to this first practice please make sure you have completed the VHSL physical form and submitted it through the Athlete Family Medical Portal (See Athletic Training page). Some will also have to complete concussion training/testing as well. Your VHSL physical needs to be completed and turned in prior to our first practice.
At this first practice I hope to have more information on our Covid guidelines for the season, talk about expectations, meet schedule, and practice plans.
