August if fast approaching, which means John Paul Volleyball tryouts are just around the corner.

Here are some details about tryouts.

Tryouts and August Practices are mandatory. Email Mr. Chris Vander Woude at chris.vanderwoude@jpthegreat.org if you have a conflict.

A current VHSL physical is required to participate in tryouts.

Attire for tryouts is shorts, T-shirt and tennis shoes.

The team will be announced after Monday August 7th's session.

Official practices will begin August 8th.

There will be an initial meeting on Tuesday June 20^th in the Auxiliary Gym for all interested in playing volleyballl in the fall. The meeting will be from 10am-12pm. We will discuss summer plans and then scrimmage for the remainder of the time.

Summer workouts will occur each Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm and Friday morning from 9:00-11:00am. Workouts will start Friday June 23^rd at 9:00am. Please dress to play in shorts and t-shirt with sleeves along with gym approved tennis shoes. More information can be found on the volleyball section of the JP athletics webpage.
