Biography:
Sheila Francis began coaching at John Paul in 2007. She has been the head coach since 2014. She has 15 years of competitive swimming experience and was a Division 1 scholarship swimmer at Bradley University in Peoria, Il. During her tenure at Bradley, Coach Francis held the team record in the 200-yard backstroke for two of her four years. She also competed regularly in the 500- and 1000-yard freestyle. While coaching at Saint John Paul, the swim team has qualified for the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association’s State Swimming Championship five years in a row with both Top 8 and Top 16 individual and team relay finishes. The swim team has also qualified for and competed in the Catholic Nationals for three years.
Biography:
Coach Early has been coaching field hockey since 2019. During the 2019-2020 season, the team placed second in the Delaney Athletic Conference. In addition John Paul had three players make 1st team all conference and one player make 2nd team all conference.
