She played lacrosse for four years at C. D. Hylton Senior High School just down the road in Prince William County from 2014-2018 (1 year JV, 3 years Varsity, and a 2 years a captain). Following her high school career, she was recruited and awarded scholarships to play NCAA Division II Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse at the University of Virginia’s College at Wise in the Mountain East conference for one year and the South Atlantic Conference for four years after a switch in conferences. She was a captain in college for three years out five years. Her regular “9 to 5” job is as General Manager at a Planet Fitness running the day-to-day gym operations. After graduating last year and playing my last game as a Cavalier in the spring, I Coach Darington quickly realized she was not ready to let lacrosse go and after a bit of searching, she feels blessed to have had the opportunity to begin her coaching career here at JPG, serving as the assistant coach for Girl’s Varsity lacrosse last season. She has also participated in some adult leagues to keep her own stick warm and additionally, became a certified official last summer to keep up with the game. She is excited for another upcoming year and the opportunity to go for a 3-peat with our amazing girls this coming season!
