Saint John Paul the Great Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nina Velandria, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Velandria is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Saleema Tinner, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.

Layna Thomas and Riley Thomas certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Thomas scored 17 points along with three steals, while Thomas scored nine points along with six rebounds and four steals. Thomas is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Saint John Paul the Great Catholic pushed their record up to 7-7 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Fredericksburg Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
