Two losses back-to-back typically would damage a team's morale. Luckily, the Lady Wolves are not a typical team. The game was close from the start, but a spark of energy in the second quarter from Jamie Velandria and the bench gave the team the tools that would keep them ahead, even if just by a point or two. By the end of the 4th quarter the Lady Wolves were up 40-37, but a clutch 3 from the other side forced overtime. The Lady Wolves sadly could not keep their lead, but their efforts as well as energy from the bench kept them in the game till the end. - Beryll Ntiako
